Uttararachal In
stitute of Technology (UIT) was setup in June 2006 with the aim of providing quality education in the field of Engineering.
In June 2006 Uttaranchal Institute of Technology was established offering courses in the field of B. Tech and Management . The Institute is popularly known as UIT.
The Institute initially offered four branches of engineering namely Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India, Affiliated to Uttarakhand Technical University (Uttarakhand).
